PASTORAL CARE
At TBL College we consider the welfare of our students as paramount importance. Because of this all of our staff hold an enhanced DBS. All students will have a regular 1:1 tutorial with one of the staff at the College. The Principal will also be available for meetings with students as required.
INDIVIDUAL TRAINING
Due to the TBL College cap on intake, the college will always maintain a personal approach both to teaching and the welfare of the students. It is our ethos to identify the strengths in each of our students and use those strengths to help them grow in confidence, thereafter having the courage to develop their weaker areas.
PARENTS EVENING
There will be an annual parents evening in Term 2 of each year to discuss the students progressions. The staff will be available to speak with and it is encouraged that parents/carers and students attend the session together and meet with all the teachers. This will ensure that there is a clear progression path agreed to allow maximum development.

PERFORMANCES
Here at TBL College, we believe that the stage is a performers classroom and so we have regular opportunities to perform in different venues and in different styles. Our set performances are listed below:
Musical – Each year students will audition for a Musical. This gives the students the great opportunity to follow the characters entire journey. As well as performing in this Musical the students will also need to contribute artistically to the backstage process including costumes, stage management, lighting & sound and advertising & promotion. All of this gives the students the understanding of the demands of putting on a Musical.
Showcase – At the end of each year the students will put together a showcase whereby each student performs solo singing, dance and acting as well as small group and ensemble pieces set by visiting professionals as well as the fantastic TBL College staff.
There will also be presentations of the students exam work before the students take the exam. This will give another opportunity for parents to see the student’s progression.
