What Is This?
This style is similar to the Lyrical style but a little more ‘off the wall’! The choreography is stunning and links steps to help students develop quality of movement, fluidity, flexibility and above all strength.
The main focus of this class is style and fluidity. Students will learn the set warm up which repeats each week to give the students the chance to see their development. There are exercises which repeat on rotation again to allow for technical development. Finally the routine. The bit of a choreography class that everyone is waiting for. The choreography in this class is stunning and adds so much quality to the students who take the class.
To attend this class you must attend a Ballet Tech class. This is to ensure that you have the correct technical ability for this Choreography class.
There are two levels of Lyrical Contemporary Jazz, Inter and Senior. The groups are based on the Ballet Tech levels. Level 2, 3 and 4 attend Intermediate and Level 5 and 6 attend Advanced.
