Rachel Woodwards trained at London Studio Centre for 3 years and graduated with a diploma in Musical Theatre. While there she studied Ballet, Jazz (incl. Free Jazz &, Matt Mattox Rock Jazz), Contemporary, Tap, Partner Work, vocal training, Drama and body control. Rachel started performing on the professional stage from the tender age of 5 years.
She went on to dancing all over the world and in the UK, some of the highlights include Princess Cruises working closely with Choreographer and Director Karen Bruce (The Bodyguard, Strictly Come Dancing to name a few) Costa Cruises Dance Captain and choreographer, several summer seasons in the UK and Portugal, Pantomimes for 5 years, danced in Disneyland California, and acted on many television shows and commercials.
After her professional career Rachel was a Musical Theatre Agent for 2 years responsible for the audition and assessment of prospective talent for lucrative bookings for musical, commercial, television and film appointments primarily London based.
Rachel has been teaching for over 9 years in a variety of genres, Modern, Tap, R.A.D Ballet and Musical Theatre, for exams, competitions, and shows.
Finally, Rachel moved to the Yorkshire and taught as a freelance teacher in Jazz, Tap and Modern.
